SCHOOL RULES

Attendance

Students must arrive at least 10 minutes before the session begins (i.e at 8:30 am) Regularity and punctuality are demanded of all the students.

A student must attend the school from the opening day till the last day of the scholastic year.

Leave notes are obligatory. Leave must be applied for in advance. When the absence is due to unforeseen circumstances, due entry must be made in absence from School section of the diary, signed only by parents/Guardians to be then countersigned by the Principal/H.M before admitting the class room.

A pupil who has been absent for more than 3 days at a stretch because of illness is expected to produce a Doctor’s Certificate/medical record which should be brought by the parent before the student return to school.

Absence for a week or more could be considered as the withdrawal of the pupil from the school on important occasions and just prior to the Examination.

Students who have to leave the school during class hours must get the Principal’s/H.M.’s written permission.

A pupil who is absent during any class will be marked absent for the whole session.

Students who a cumulative attendance of less than 85% will not be allowed to sit for the promotion examination and will be detained.

Late comers must get proper entries made in the Late Arrival Section of the diary before entering the class room.

Behaviour

All students must be distinguished by their discipline and polite manners.

Students should be clean, their hair well groomed and neatly dressed in their Uniform.

Students should greet their teachers wherever they meet them.

Eating, chewing and drinking water inside the class rooms during class hours are forbidden.

The use of Tobacco, Pan, Tamul, Supari, Talab or other addictive/intoxicating substances is totally, forbidden in the school. Students found indulging in these may be suspended or expelled.

Students are not allowed to join outside clubs or make engagements that would interfere with the studies. Students found disturbing the school, instigating indiscipline or encouraging absenteeism will be expelled without warning.

Students are not allowed to form union in the school, Activities of Students Unions that exist elsewhere, will not be permitted in this school.

The Principal may dismiss a student whose diligence in studies is steadily unsatisfactory; whose conduct is harmful to others or whose parents/Guardians whose little or no interest in the student’s progress.

Immorality, insubordination, contempt of authority, lack of interest in one’s duties as a student and misappropriation of others belongings will be sufficient reasons for the dismissal of a student.

Parents found threatening and/or manhandling the staff or other’s children in the school, no matter what the fault may be, will find their own children expelled from the school.

Complaints regarding the staff or other students in the school have to be routed through the principal/H.M.

The Principal reserves himself the right to use corporal punishment for the correction of students and may delegate the same to staff members as and when seen appropriate.

Students found forging their Parents/Guardians signature, will be suspended or dismissed for the School.

Admission & Withdrawal

New admission are granted only to the lowest classes. Other admission, if any, will depend on the availability of seats and on the competence of the students established satisfactorily.

Students who was issued T.C. from this school once, is not eligible for re-admission.

Every candidate for admission must be introduced by the one who will be responsible for the candidate’s conduct, studies and regularity.

A Student who fails in two consecutive classes or twice in the same class will be requested to withdraw himself/herself from the school.

Transfer certificates will be issued on receipt of a written application from the Parent/Guardian, mentioning therein the Class, Section, Roll No. and Admission No. of the pupil.

No. T.C. will be issued unless all sums to the school paid in full.

On matters of admission and withdrawal, the decision of the Principal is final.
